Make the case for replacing what's worn out

List the instruments, props, and gear that need replacing, and this BandBoosterKit planner turns it into a board packet you can print — it autosaves in your browser and exports CSV and backup files too. It isn't the official inventory, so use item and role labels only and keep serial-number registries, vendor account details, and official records out of it.

Assumptions

Check these before sharing

  • Use instrument or equipment IDs, asset tags, sections, and condition notes rather than student private data.
  • Keep official school asset records, purchase approvals, serial-number policies, insurance notes, and payment records in approved systems.
  • Repair, replacement, purchasing, and transportation rules must be checked locally.
  • Blank numeric fields count as zero. Negative values are treated as zero and flagged for review.

Formula notes

How the worksheet math works

Each asset row multiplies quantity by estimated replacement cost. Rows group by target year into a replacement schedule with per-year totals; rows without a year land in an unscheduled group. The capital total sums every row.

FAQ

Common questions

What can I do with the Instrument / Equipment / Props Replacement Planner?

Enter your numbers and notes, save in this browser, print the packet, export CSV, or download a backup file. Official records, payments, and approvals stay in the systems your group already uses.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no account to create and nothing to log into. Your work saves right in this browser when local saving is available.

What should I avoid entering?

Leave out full private rosters, student account balances, medical details, emergency contacts, room assignments, addresses, parent phone lists, payment records, card or bank data, tax IDs, credentials, and anything you would not put in a shared booster packet.
